Speedböozer - Count Von Emoslayer Interview 2012 - Scumfuck Till Death

Hello again scumfucks, It's a great honor to interview Count Von Emoslayer himself, Great respect for this band for having such a raw and punk-ish sound. Here's the Speedböozer interview.

How is the scene in your hometown?

The scene here really fuckin' sucks, man. It's either the new emo/deathcore/scream/breakdown garbage or just a buncha Pantera wannabes. We're from the desolate South though. We have bands we get along with here that play really similar styles of music, but no Metal Punk bands.

How did you meet each other, and how has the line-up changed since then?

I met Göatrider when he was filling for a drummer during a recording session in an old band I was in. When things inevitably fell apart with that project, I decided to form Speedböozer and he's the first person I called. He's a fantastic drummer. Bass players have been a revolving door of
friends just trying to fill in for us.

What is your definition of Metal Punk?

Metal Punk is raw, aggravated, pissed off fuckin' noise. It should combine the raw attitude and aesthetic of Punk with the speed and attack of Metal. I grew up listening to both Punk and Metal bands and I really hate how divided it is among certain Metalheads or Punks. It's two separate roads that lead to the same destination, so it seemed natural to pursue that musically.

How is the new album going, how did you record it and what can we expect?

The new album is going great. We're all finished as of now. I'm just waiting for EBM to get back to me about receiving the master CD I sent them. We recorded the drums with an old mixer at Göatrider's house. I went to go see a friend that has a small studio to lay down the guitars and vocals and I recorded the bass guitar at my house. I'm really happy with it overall. It's definitely going to be raw, sick, and fast. I'm very confident that our few (but extremely dedicated) fans will love it.

Are there any interesting stories you would like to share?
(slaying emo kids for example)

This one time at a show, this kid was doing that hardcore dancing shit, and I went up to him and started pushing him. He came at me really weird; like he fell on his knees and tried to buckle mine together or something, so I picked his ass up and body slammed him. haha we always try to raise hell as much as we can at shows we go to or play. Our fans feel the same. We love moshing, breaking shit, spraying beer everywhere, etc.

What other bands do you recommend listening to?

Definitely check out Vingador, Bonehunter, Iron Fist, Whipstriker, Bleeding Twats, Nemesis (Charlotte Thrash), Atomic Roar, Children of Technology... all really fucking great bands, man. A million hails to them! And always listen to the classics: Motörhead, Venom, Warfare, Tank, Razor... this is mandatory!!!

Hobo Cigarettes

How to make a poor man's cigarette, This is very useful after finishing a pack of cheap cigs...
Instead of throwing away what's left in the ashtray this is what you can do...
You Will NEED!
An ashtray full of cigarettes
A pack of rolling papers
and a razor blade ( you can beat up an emo kid and steal his razor )

Now take a cig butt from your ashtray... Remove the black burned part with your razor blade on the cig (the part that gets all black from when you put them out.)
Now squeeze the left over tobacco into a pile or where ever you like. Repeat this with as many cigs as you want so you have a decent pile.now take one of the cigarette butts you used and pull out the filter, This will be the filter for your new cigarette. Now its time to grab the good papers. Place your filter you just obtained to the left side of the paper make sure it lines up not hanging out or to far in.
While keeping you paper and filter in your hand grab some of your good ol tobacco you just came up with and filler up to the right of the filter put a decent amount so when you roll it, it would turn out perfectly.Next roll up your scumfuck Cigarette and enjoy! and for the retards you have to lick the yellow lines on the paper for it to stick.
cheers scumfux

Scumcorpse Interview - Lebanese Punk Band - Scumfuck Till Death

Here is an interview with the lebanese punks Victor Outlaw and Jp Hellfucker ( From Scumcorpse ) that are keeping a Scumfuck tradition. We will be taking about the music and the street life:

1 - How did you meet each other, and what made you want to start this band?

Jp: We met each other in a local gig, full of posers. I saw a guy wearing a Ramones shirt and I was wearing a Misfits shirt.
V.Outlaw: Yeah so we started chilling on the street and auditioned for some drummers, but all of them were fags, so we called up an old friend of Jp.. Local Vandal, Robin Beer-opener had been playing drums for about a year before joining the band.

2 - How is the punk scene in lebanon and how do you plan on affecting it?
The punk scene is shit , were not planing on affecting anything , but i would credit the early detox shit , the first demo as a fucking punk masterpiece
V.Outlaw: I just wanna get fucked up.

3 - Can you explain to us what "scumfuck tradition" means to you?
Jp: Ask Vikky.
V.Outlaw: Ask Jippy. haha, I geuss getting drunk on extra strong beer, till we pass out in the alley.

4 - Where do you get money for beer?
V.Outlaw: Parents, gigs, selling Scumcorpse CDs, Busking or simply "borrowing" money...
Jp: Part-time Job.
5- After listening to some early unreleased shit, i've realized there's a big difference in quality in each song you recorded, why is that?
V.Outlaw: I geuss we were always in a hurry to record and sometimes got lucky. sometimes had to record with shitty equipment.
Jp:We recorded in different places , different gear , the demo won't be good quality which is what we're aiming for , but i think the EP would be average.
6-What are some bands that aren't punk or thrash that really inspire you, and what lebanese bands do you recommend?
V.Outlaw: Beirut Scum Society are the best lebanese band. And I geuss to answer your first half of the questions, I'd say Johnny Cash, Frank Zappa, Thin Lizzy... Other than that it's pretty much street punk and scumfuck rock n roll.
Jp:Blondie... I'm getting a debbie harry tattoo soon, Ram jam , KISS, even firehouse, im a big fan of old school rock n roll and some glam stuff. as for what Lebanese band i recommend : Thrashstorm , damaar(split up) , nightchains (split up) , early detox (a big influence) ... other then that the scene sucks here fuck it ...
V.Outlaw: I'd like to add that the Lebanese Scum Punk Scene is BEAUTIFUL, and there is totally NOTHING wrong with it... it's as shitty as our lifestyle and our state of mind.

Scumcorpse demo will be released and sold on LebaneseScumRecords.
